Meridian Mail 12.14 vs 12.11

I have a customer that was running MM12.14 and is now trying to load MM12.11 and is running into issues. I have always been told that you can use any 12. tape as long as you are running 12.xx software, meaning you can not use a 12.xx install on a system running 13.xx software.

Sorry for the lack of info here, I am not getting much from the customer. I just want to know if there is a specific issue that would prevent the customer from using 12.11 to re-install?

I don't recall you needed the keycodes for up issue from 12.11 to 12.14 as long as you have the keycodes for release 12. The main thing would be which problems did 14 fix

Well the customer is just trying to re-load the base software. They were running 12.14 and something went wrong. They were sent a 12.11 install tape with the understanding that ANY 12.xx install tape would give them the base software they required.

Yes, as Tball1 has said, the Meridian Mail keycode should work across the same Mail release.
