Meridian 61c backup trouble

Hello
I am having trouble doing a manual backup in LD 43. When I type EDD I get a 0008 message, which means BACKUP DISABLED. I cannot find out how to reenable the backup.

Try doing this. Log in to the switch but don't go into any load. Then type in the command enlt. See if that fixes it.

yes I have 2 cpus and both show ENBL

I tried the enlt, but that did not work. I think it just doesn't like me

what do you get in LD 137 when you type STAT and ghit enter?

Storage device disabled.
ACTION: For MSI - Use ENL MSI x in LD 37 to enable the storage
device. If the MSI does not enable and the fault does not clear, replace
the MSI card(s) following the steps in the Hardware replacement
guide. Verify that the fault is cleared. If you need help with the
commands or system responses refer to the IOD chapter in this guide.
For CMDU use DIS CMDU n and DIS IOP to disable both CMDUs
and IOPs. Use ENL CMDU n and ENL IOP to re-enable the active
CMDU and IOP. Try to data dump again. If you are successful, use
the SYNC command to synchronize the CMDUs. If you need help
with the commands or system responses refer to the CIOD chapter
in this guide. If you are not successful, contact your technical
support group.
