Meridian 11C DaughterBoard Problem 1

During a power outage the Meridian software daughterBoard was damaged and It can´t load some files to start, below a capture from the start log:

Does any know how to repair the software daughterboard and recover the database (programming information)?, I tried to re-load the PBX software in the daughterboard but It fails becauce PBX first tries to backup the old files, and they are corrupted

If you have a complete backup and the Original Key code information from installation. Then you could try CRTL I and select new installation and reload the software. If that works then you should be able to load from the back up. If not you need to open a ticket with NORTEL.

I already tried that but, but for doing this the PBX first backup old files and fails beacuse the old files are corrupted , below the messages that send the PBX:

Sorry for the luck, and you just know that NORTEL is going to say you have to upgrade the system for them to support it.

25.30 is sustained, Nortel will either have you replace the daugterboard or they'll dial in and FBUG the DB and you'll have to reinstall the software. Once that's done, if you have a backup, use it to restore the system or Nortel can pull the backup off of the z drive on the ssc card and restore your system using that....assuming you log back in before midn run

I've done a guide on using "fbug" it will enable you to format your daughterboard & then allow you to reload the software as standard via the PCMCIA card method. You should still be able to recover & use your customers database, which still remains on the CPU (z drive)

the daughter Board is now blank but I want to recover the customer database, in LD 43 I use DAT command and It shows me the internal database (old customer database), I used LD 43 RIB command to recover the database but It didn´t work. I dont If I did something wrong

What ever you do, Don't do a "EDD"!. You need to go into LD 143 Type in upgrade & go to the utilities section. Then key in 3 followed by 1 & then 1 again. Key "Y" to restore the database that should still exist from the "Z" drive into the main / active section. Come out of LD 143 & go into LD 43.
Key in "DAT" to list out the databases. You should now see your main is the same as your backup database.
The final bit is to reboot your system. Upon reload, your backup database will now be operational.
