Hey guys
I was looking at an old thread (thread959-622630) about how to use the "Not Ready" activity codes. Everything refers to symposium, which I do not have. Is there a way to utilize the not ready codes with acd alone? I have an option 11 release 25.40. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jamie

i don't know of a way to enter not ready codes without the symposium.. might try stf

Code:
  STS_MSG
    MSG01 Please leave message
    MSG02 Back to work
    MSG03 In a meeting
    MSG04 On a conference call
    MSG05 At lunch
    MSG06 Busy call
MSG07 Out of the office today
    MSG08 On a business trip
    MSG09 Project deadline today
    MSG10 Will reply after

those are from the cdb and they can be modified, don't know if you can apply those to nr keys

KEY ACNT press it during the call or before the next one. Enter a code you define yourself, same lenght for all codes. You will find it on hourly reports

SORRY BUT THAT ONLY APPLIES TO ACD-D AND ACD MAX AND YOU WILL NEED A ADS BLOCK BUILT.

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

In order to use activity codes (not ready or regular) you need to have a device such as Symposium to report on the codes. There would not be a reason to collect this data if you couldn't report on it.

are you referring to pkg 50(ACDD) if so, I have that in my switch. I also had an ads block built, but was unsure on how to preceed. How / where do you define the messages that you are going to use? Are these the same messages that are in the cdb? Finally, how do you implement the codes?

Again everyone I appreciate all the support with this.

Jamie

The messages that are in the CDB have nothing to do with Not Ready reason codes; When they enter a code, it can be a 3 digit code and then it gets assigned to a "reason" in the reporting software. The problem you are having as that you do not have a reporting software (i.e. Symposium since MAX is EOL) to send this information to.

Thanks alot...Everyone. I couldnt see the connection between the two, but i just wanted to double check to make sure i wasnt overlooking anything.
