Dear All,

Just wondered if anyone knows a way to merge vectors; so for example if you draw a circle and a rectangle can you then merge them together? I don't think you can but I'm just wondering if anyone else knows better! (Might make life a little easier than just having to node edit loads of stuff!)

Thanks!

Create each as seperate vector layer.
Select either.
Blend Mode/Multiply.

Um, thanks but not quite what I mean; what I'm asking is can you actually merge the two vectors together so that they become one vector?

(I don't think you can, but just in case...)

Thanks anyway though!

Try selecting all the vector shapes, right click and chose Export Shape.

Then Open from PSP Folder/Shapes/Name you gave the vector.

Sorry, that should have read ... the name you gave the exported shape. s-)

Hi LittleRedHat,

I have a feeling, from past experiences, that when you export a number of vectors as a shape it leaves them as the seperate vectors; this means that when you reuse the shape all the vectors are put back into the image.

Nice idea though, thanks for your help anyway!

You're right!

I like the idea and could put it to good use too, so having run out of options as how to get there I've just rung Digital Workshop tech support. (I'm in the UK too - Fleetwood.) They confirm it can't be done, so I've asked for it to be put on the "Wish List". LOL

Good job! *PetitPal applaudes loudly*
