Merging Registry Files Silently

Is there anway in which I can merge a registry file without having to require interaction from the user?

regedit.exe <reg.file> /S

the /s switch does it silently.

Tried that running a cmd prompt and running the file from the desktop with the /S switch, but it still asks if I woudl like to merge the info into the registry.

Any other suggestions ?
