Does anyone have practical knowledge of how to merge two or more calendar files? I have one named Ben and one named Jamie. I need to merge them to make one calendar for planning sake.
I seem to remember that SDK97 (Internet Sidekick) and Sdk95 can do it but I believe there are some issues surrounding conversion of SDK98 Calendars to these programs.
I have to be at home to check it out so will get back to you later.
Now 13:30 here (Ireland)

Dear DaddyBen,
Yes it can be done I believe,
in Sidekick97/Internet Sidekick.
But you need to obtain a copy.
That version of Sidekick is the most versatile as you can even synchronise Cardfiles and Calendars over a network (Now you know why Ericsson bought Starfish)
I tested it with recurring events and ordinary events and Holidays.
It seems to have a problem with Tasks though and says it can't access the file but I will work on that to see why.
I have not tested it on Calls or Goals yet though as I am going out to an Exhibition tonight but I will see what I can do.
Even without checking the rest I would still say that it is worth getting the Program if you can find it anywhere
HTH

The Download site for the Acrobat version of the SK97 manual is:
ftp://ftp2.starfish.com/pub/sk97/sk97acro.zip
As you will see from page 113 you can with SDK97 even synchronise Cardfiles with other types of files (eg Tab or comma delimited).
Unfortunately SDK97 has a reduced feature set compared to Internet Sidekick (You can't synchronise Calendars with it)
Also you will see from what I have mentioned previously, Starfish gave up on distributing Internet Sidekick because of it's Power.
I have checked Calls and they can be synchronised, but I warn you that throughout synchronising the error message blah blah blah blah.Mast.Wk kept coming up but did not stop me carrying on as long as I clicked on OK.
So I hope I have explained things sufficiently even though the answer to your original question is:
Buy a copy of Internet sidekick SOMEWHERE ANYWHERE. HTH

Dear All,
Further to a previous post that I made, the address given for the SK97 manual is incorrect:
Where I said:
The Download site for the Acrobat version of the SK97 manual is:
ftp://ftp2.starfish.com/pub/sk97/sk97acro.zip
I have to inform you that the link is no longer available so see the FAQ page referenced in the last post.
