In Outlook 2007, I want to merge another user's contacts into mine. I exported that user's contacts to a pst file. I open my outlook and select import from a pst file. I navigate to that pst file. The import finishes but I do not see those contacts in mine. If I go to file> data file management, the data files tab, I can see my mailbox as default and the other contacts as Personal Folders and the the pst file and its location in a network share. How do I get those contacts to merge into my contacts, so if I have 100 contacts and the pst file has 100 contacts, when successful I would see 200 contacts when I opened Outlook?

Thank you. Thank you very much

I always export/import contacts as a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file and I've never had any problems. The only thing I only export/import as a pst file is e-mail.

Hope this helps.

That was painless. How much simpler could it be?

Another difference b/t 2000 and 2007.

Thanks very much.

I'm glad that you got it to work. I've never used a pst format to import/export anything except e-mail, even when I used Office/Outlook 2000.

Hope this helps.
