Merge Goldmine contacts into Excel or Word

can someone please help? I am trying to get my contact information from Goldmine into Word or Excel.
I have over 500 contacts that I need to do a mail merge in a word document and then print labels.
I created the template and did the wizard walk through and tall i get is a run time error.
I have tried to download the word link numerous times and it does not work.
advice please!

you can either export the contact information out of goldmine via the export wizard, or you could link you goldmine backend directly into excel or word, this will depend on what goldmine backend you are using, if you use sql then this is possible, if dbase then export the data from goldmine.

I still need help with this. I have done exactly what you have mentioned and my Excel sheets are blank.
