Merdian Mail messages

The systems is an option 81c with meridian mail. When a call goes to voicemail and then hangs up during the gretting a message is now recorded (the message is nothing ass the caller has already hung up). This does not normally happen.
Does anyone know how to change this back???

I found the problem.
It was with the isdn circuits. They arent releasing the calls for 120 seconds.

I had the exact same problem after I had a new PRI T1 installed. My users were getting silence recorded in their voicemail. When you said the problem was with the circuits was this something you corrected on the route or did the carrier correct it?

It is was fixed on the route itself. It was setup to hold onto incoming calls for 120 seconds after hangup.

can you please tell me specifically what parameter you changed? my users are freaking out in one of my offices because their lights are staying on and we have brand-new circuits in there and I think your solution will work for me too. I'm looking in the NTPs but really need to get this fixed ASAP. thank you.
