I have a site that would like the night greeting to turn on between 12 and 1 pm. The greeting is currently set up as a time of day schedule but you can only set the beginning and end of each business day. ie 8 am to 5 pm. There are no provisions for mid day "night" menu service. I've been brainstorming different ways to do this and have come up short so far. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have an Opt 11C with Mer Mail. Not sure of the release.

Thanks

Ken

I've never tried it with a time of day - but you should be able to:

Incoming call -> VSDN xxxx TD 1111

TD 1111 night 1112, Business 1113, Holiday 1114
business hrs 8-5, m-f

TD 1113 (this is the ID from the 1st TD)
Night 1112 Business 1115, Holiday 1114
business hrs 12-1, m-f

Menue Service 1112 = night menue or annoucement
1114 = Holiday menue or announcement
1115 = day menue

Hey, I think this will work. Only in TD 1113, I want the night greeting to show up during 12 - 1. so shouldn't it be:
TD 1113 (from first TD)
Night 1115 Business 1112, Holiday 1114
business hours 12-1

Does that make sense? Between 8-5 the first TD schedule will send it to TD 1113. By setting 1113's business hours from 12 - 1, you then make 8-12 and 1-5 night service hours. Great idea! Thanks

Ken

Yes you are right. But both the night and business IDs will have to be NEW - ie Night 1115 Business 1116. Then 1115 and 1116 would be defines as either menus or announcements.
