Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what settings to use for the cursor keys - i need these for selecting what traffic report i want to run in Meridian Mail.

I am using VT220, and have setup my F5 - F9 and Page up and Down already.

Kind Regards

Stuart

Hi John,

For some reason when I go into the reports screen with operational metrics, i cannot get the cursor keys to move down the Yes/No selections for each of the reports.

As soon as i hit any of the cursor keys (Normal or Num pad) it tells me that this key cannot be used at this time?

I am at a total loss with this as all the posts that i have seen only refer to the F keys and pg up / down.

Cheers

Stuart

Try the "ARROW" keys not the Page UP/Down keys.

Hi Hawks

The Arrow keys are the ones that are not working, neither the normal or the num pad arrow keys.

Hi,

Has anyone else got any idea why the cursor keys would not be working?

Is there a way I can check from a TTY what the correct key code sent should be?

Cheers

Stuart

Hi,

Just an update to this - Got the cursor keys working now.

I had to use the following values for them to work in meridian mail

^[[A Up
^[[B Down
^[[D Left
^[[C Right

Now all I need to find is a delete key sequence.

Thanks for the suggestions.
