hi,

when installing swift 3d i realized that there is a manual... up to this moment i was a happy firegambler.

then i saw that there was nothing about scripting in swift.
i couldn't find any script editor in swish neither.

how on earth can it be possible to make a menu in swift if i even cannot put scripts on objects, i wasn't even able to find a way to create buttons.

is it that i am so dull [3eyes], is it hidden too well [censored] or is there just no way of making buttons and other dynamic stuff in swift [nosmiley] (and if so, how could they make a menu on the [ponder] erain.com site?)

please give me a hint!!

regards

ive wanted ver3 for a while but have stuck with 1 as i cant justify the cost.

far as i know 3 is like 1 in that there is no scripting...it just produces vector graphics

nothing to stop you importing these into flash and converting them to buttons....thats what i would do. i hope its faster than 1 which can be painfully slow when rendering.

that said it does look like a nice package and oh well maybe on my next birthday but i want to upgrade from director 8.5 to director mx first.

yep swift just generates vector graphics. all navigation/scripting/constructing comes from manipulating the frames using flash.
