Hi,

Is this what you mean:

XL97: WE1183: "Customizing Menu Bars, Menus, and Menu Items"
(166755) - The Application Note "Customizing Menu Bars, Menus, and Menu Items" (WE1183) is now available from Microsoft Product Support Services. This Application Note can help you learn techniques for writing Visual Basic for Applications code to customize...

Good Luck!

Hi Peter,

The link confirms that the menu editor did disappear in Excel 97. What I now wan't to know, is if Excel97 was a part of
a)Windows95;
b)Windows98
c)an upgrade of MSOffice which runs with both Windows95 and Windows98

Thanks,

Hi again,

Excel97 is a part of MSOffice97, but I think it could be purchased separately.

It would run on Windows95, Windows98, WindowsNT, and most probably Windows 2000, but was never a part of these.

Hope This Helps
