After getting a new custom built computer wihch i ordered from in peices and after putting it together in the right order, i hooked up my 80 gig hard drive and booted up the computer.
I previously made sure that everything was compatiable with everything else so the mobo works with the 2700 512 kingston ram (mobo is an asus).
When installing xp, i was able ot format the computer just fine yet when it comes to the part where you see the windows interface and starts counting down from 39 mins. it will eaither in that time some time come to a blue screen and say
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
or, it will freeze at somewhere around 5-9 mins left.
The only things i can think of are something which you would have to change in bios, i tried disabling the shadow option but i really have no other place to turn.
I have a volcano 9 processor fan on my 2200xp cpu so i dont think that would be overheating, not to mention the 4 case fans i have as well.
Please help!!
Thanks a ton.
