Memory requirements

Hello,
I want to learn Java. I want to install the best compiler for an Intel Pentium 2 Processor with 128 MB of RAM memory. What compiler do you think is suitable for me? I would like a compiler that is not slow and the later version as possible.

I've used the Java compiler from sun on many machines, my average compile time ranges from 1 to 6 seconds. It worked on the old P 233 mhz, 32 Mb ram I used to have but just a little longer, so compile time shouldn't be a problem unless you compile like 20,000 lines at one time.
