We have 8 SCN'd IP Offices (all IP500V2) on various releases of 8.1 and 9.0 and for a while, 2 of the locations have had random partial memory loss. The two types of loss are all button info at one location and the other voicemail passwords and email addresses. Reboots seem to fix it for a few weeks. The SCN is set up as a complete mesh and has one centralized voicemail. The systems are connected together via VPNs going through the public Internet. Most of the pipes are quite large bandwidth. 100 x 50 etc. It is an engineering firm and there are large data moves throughout the network at times. Has anyone every experienced partial memory loss like this? On our single site or dual site setups have never had this kind of issue. Any ideas or tests to try?

For starts I would never have 8 IPOs on different releases in the same SCN.
Just because it's supposed to work doesn't mean it's a good idea =)

VPN through the public internet is not guarantee bandwidth. There's no Quality of service going through the public internet.

I was told by an off-forum tech that the SCN links should not corrupt a config but that on rel 9 using a 9.1 manager could.. and that may be in play here. I did tell the customer what you stated very early in our relationship with them... 5 years ago! : )
