Memory Conflicts with foxpro 2.6

Is posibily that an program have conflicts of memory in foxpro 2.6 and this same program , not have this conflicts in foxpro 2.1.?
What is te reason ?

Yes It is,
FoxPro 2.1 was written in Watcom C before the compnay was sold.
FoxPro 2.6 was the first version produced by MicroSoft in MS C++.
