Memo field is just 255 long in query

I have a strange problem:
I make a pretty advanced query taking a few tables and put them in a query. One of the table fields is a Memo field with big length.
In a simple query the field isn't shortened but in this query it is. So in some cases half of the text isn't readable in the reports I made.
Someone have this problem handled?

I had a similar problem. I changed the Unique Values flag in query properties to No, and that fixed everything. It doesn't make any sense to me, but it fixed it.

If u mean:
Right click the query, choose properties and set unique values to no (it was just no) doesn't help.

Do u have another tip?
