I have a G3si version 12 software. I was wondering if I need any special hardware or software to set up a Meet Me Conference line. If not, can someone post the steps to set it up?
Thanks
TJ

It's available to you if you paid for the right-to-use. If you look on your VDN screen, you'll see "Meet-Me Conferencing?" on the first page if you have Meet-Me capabilities. Your Call Vectoring and Expert Agent Selection (EAS) Guide has instructions - let me know if you need a link.

Used Available Limit
Meet-me Conference VDNs per system: 0 175 175
Meet-me Conference vectors per system: 0 256 256

This is on page 3 in my disp capacity
But I don't fully follow you on how to find out if I'm able to use the Meet Me. Can you give me a bit more detail?
Thanks TJ

On the actual VDN form (add vdn 1234) there is a field labeled "Meet-Me Conference". Changing that from a N (default) to a Y makes it a Meet-Me VDN. Here is an example:
Code:
PAGE 1:

                             Extension: 2276

                         Vector Number: 11

Your vectors will also have an "Meet-Me" option. Attached is an example of Meet-Me vector:

Thanks a ton for the info, Susan. One other thing...
How do you record announcements and where are they stored?
I appreciate your help.

Announcements are stored on the announcement board in your system - either a TN750 or a TN2501. If you have a TN2501, you can upload a .wav file to the board, otherwise, you can record the announcements on your telephone by dialing the FAC.

I just did a disp feat to try to find the code, what should I be looking for? I really appreciate you putting up with me.
Thanks TJ

Announcement Access Code" - page 1. You'll also need console permissions on your phone.

Do you have an Admin manual? I can give you the page numbers for the procedure....

Take a look at this document - Chapter 13 (Managing Announcements).

Also take a look at the FAQ page for this forum.

There are many how to's, including a few for meet me conferencing.
