meet me conference music to play until second party joins

Hi Guys,

Need some guidance please. Ive installed ipo 9.1.5 on a virtual machine to be used as a conference bridge.. All working.

The client has request that music needs to play until the second party joins - Is this possible?

Setup:

1) user calls in and prompted to enter conference id
2) after successful conference id they are requested to say there name
3) After saying there name they hear music for about 4-5 seconds then they join the conference bridge;
4) thereafter they hear silence until the next party joins.

Is there anyway for music to continue playing until the second party joins.

If you use the personal conference bridge it will play MOH until the owner joins.

Janni78 , I have used voicemail pro to setup the conference bridge with the pin codes. Not sure what the difference is or if there is a difference between personal and the way Ive currently got it setup as.

A personal conference bridge uses the extension number as bridge number and ask participants are joined together when the owner joins.
No password needed because the extension joining is the security

Hi Westi,

So my setup will not allow music to play until the 2nd person joins. I do not have any users active on the IPO its merely a bridge for meet me conference configured via Voicemail Pro.

You can do a personal bridge, or do a conference meet me to a non extension number and not have MOH.
