I have a cm 3.1 and I am trying to upgrade my medpro to fw 117. It currently has 110 on it.

I can ftp the files to my clan but i keep getting errors when I try to push it to the medpro.

This is the file I am trying to download.

tn2302ap-h11-v117-sig.bin

Is there a different procedure to follow when upgrading the SIG.bin.

I keep getting this

Target Status Reason Target Status Reason
Location Code Location Code
1. 01A10 Aborted 6212

Is there now a new proceedure that I am missing?

The TN2302ap is a CLAN upgradeable board that shouldn't change. What you may want to try is downloading the file again from the Avaya site then deleting it off the CLAN and loading the file that you re-downloaded. One thing that I have seen cause errors additionally is not transferring the File via Binary method when using FTP.

When you do the download, schedule it for some time in the future, then do a "test firmware download 1" for example, and see if it passes. That test will tell you if it ran right now, if it would pass. If your firmware is corrupted, it won't pass. I have already upgraded several medpro's to FW117, so I know the firmware is Ok on the AVAYA website.

1.-
enable file location clan login password
2.-
windows msdos: cd \ firmwarefiles
ftp address clan
binary
put filename.bin

3.
change file download

I would remove the .bin from the file. Whenever I have done medpro firmware upgrades, I have done this and the boards take the firmware upgrade successfully.

Be absolutely sure that your hardware vintage is 11 or later. If not, use the tn2302ap-h0-v117-sig.bin file.

I have made sure. I am hw11 v110 now. i am just having a problem with the sig type file for some reason.
