I am ready to try the Avaya IM Voip monitoring software. I have a question about what it is able to see and alert on. We have multiple sites connected via IP using G650s and G700s all controlled by dual 8700s. We do not use IP phones at this time, but I want to alert on bad Voip quality between Medpros and Gateways, will the Avaya monitor software do this? Reading through the documentation, it seems to deal mainly with endpoints such as telephone sets.
We have had issues with quality, not related to QOS, but bad Medpro cards, we put a sniffer on and found the source IP address that was bad, however we want to be proactive and get alerts before the end users tell us there is something wrong. Thanks for any input.
