Hello,

We have a BAB 11.5 SP3, SAN Option, primary server
Also, 2 distribuited BAB servers. The library has 2 drives and it is connected to SAN.

My problem is we always are using 3 medias, one for server. We want to have just one media. The media capacity is enough for all data. Any suggestion.

Thank you

Add both your distributed server as an client to the primary server ,select all the servers dynamically and backup the data to the SAN device

Thank you for your answer. However we want to do the backups using the SAN and not the LAN. I think if we use the client agent we would use the LAN. Any other suggestion

Regards

Orlando

The backups can be scheduled in different timings on all three backup servers and can be pointed to same media (select append on global options)

If their are many media's on the changer, create a group and assign only one media

point all three jobs to same group the data's will be appended

Regards,

Nick
