Hello

I have a problem with a CS1K Rel 5. As soon as I media security enable, (CLS MSBT), boots the IP Phones (1120 & 1140) sporadically. The FW of the IP Phone is CE6. the Signaling server prints the following error message.

SET: 10.20.71.12 TN 104-00-01-03 Terminal offline
VTM: 10.20.71.12 Unregistered, terminal = 0x2e0fa42c, device = 0x2e1f583c
VTM: vtmUSIBootHandler: SET is Security Capable

SET: 10.20.71.12 TN 104-00-01-03 Registered with CS

Does someone have an idea?

Then replace the old Firmware C6E to C7F

Meridian, Callpilot, CCM (Symposium) from Germany
 
C7J is actually the most current software for 1120E/1140E. C6E is almost two years old and six releases behind the current version.

As always, need to make sure that the CS 1000 is also fully PEP'ed to current.

Thank you for your answer. I thought also for a newer FW, but no reference to a well-known error i found. The Pep' s i will update only if i find a Patch, which me exactly the problem solve.

armada500 - If you escalate this issue to your channel partner and they escalate to Avaya/Nortel, the first thing that Avaya/Nortel will do is ask that you upgrade to latest firmware and make sure that your system is fully patched. New firmware and PEPs are put together for a reason - i.e. to fix problems. If you do not keep your system current then you WILL run into issues which could have been prevented.

I had the same problem and it was fixed by upgrading to C7J.

Yesterday I started with the upgrade to C7J. I just made a few tests with some Phones and not all together. Now I have to wait, how it will behave.
