MEDIA PLAYER 6.4 TO 9.0

I have an older computer running windows 2000 pro with a k7 at 500 mh. an looking to up grade widows media player version 6.4 to 9.0. Can I expect problems of will it go without a hitch?

Also if it doesn't how do I reinstall the older version?

How do I copy what I have before I install the new?

My son wants to download some music. How do I set up the player to play what he dowloads? It is saved in a program called Nero media player or Ahead Nero for the cd burner.

I'm surprised the auto-upgrade feature hasn't done it for you as WMP 6.4 was for Win95.

Back up your system drive with Ghost (or similar) before updating.
