Media Name Problem

I am new to arcserve and I am currently conighuring 6.5 and I am having some problems.
I have tape backup media that I wish to name, and did when I formated the tapes, last week.
But for some reason I go to configure my backup for this week and the name for each media tape is the same and not the name I nominated for each piece of media last week.
Why has this happened, What am I doing wrong.

What type of backup are you running (ie. GFS rotation)?? -----------------------------------------------------

Currently using 24Gb compressed dds tapes on a Hp external tape drive.
Running Arcserve 6.5.

Yes, but what type of backup job are you configuring? If you are running a GFS rotation for example, the tape name will be automatically assigned. -----------------------------------------------------

No not using GFS just daily backups, Mon-Fri then rotate the last backup of the week.
