SBS for Win NT ver 7

Help. Does anyone know how I solve this.

I believe problem is due to alert message only allowing seconds for a second tape to be put into drive. Seems to be automatically OK'ing alert messages.

Can anybody help?? [sig][/sig]

Palliser, I'm having the same problem with BE 7.0 SBS. Waiting on BE 8.5 but have to survive until it arrives. No one ever posted a reply. Did you come up with a fix?.

Veritas has a workaround (197483). Check the registry in HKLM/software/veritas/adamm/
look for Media Request Timeout Seconds (Reg_dword). If it ain't there than add it and change the Data to decimal and ad 20 for twenty seconds, 30 for thirty seconds etc. A value of 0 means infinite timeout (i.e. no timeout)

My error happens after BE 7.2 backs up the C drive successfully and then looks for a new tape it seems for backing up the D drive. I am thinking that there is something wrong in the configuration settings as this is a new tape drive. BE 7.2 should be backing up both drives on one tape as it has been doing in the past. The backup works occasionally on and off so my theory is not all that correct.

Any more ideas for me?
Thanx
