How do you change the IP address on a Nortel MGC card.
CTRL OAM ask for a password and the passwprd I have does not work. Is there a way to set it to default?

CTRL LDB, enter either the admin2 username/PW or PDT username/PW, then type mgcsetup. You'll need to change the superloop IP config in the call server as well.

Or, reboot the card ,type CTRL I and then mgcsetup

On my systems, Rls 5.0 and Rls 5.5, the Ctrl OAM with admin2 username/password works. (but PDT does not??) Make sure the admin2 and pwd are defined in LD17 under PWD. In hindsite, check that you are using octopus cable NTBK48, port 0 connected to the COM RS232 port on back of the shelf where the MGC card resides.
