hi

i have installed MC32 in 61C but i am getting error on the card display G014 which i tink the TLAN interface goes down i have test the card and the the 50 pin adapter whit CS1000s and it was working fine.

does the problem from the pack panel of the IPE sheilf of 61C or because there is another MC32 card is installed in the same IPE sheilf.

Did you install the 100mB filter adapter (NTCW84JA)?

Always install the filter adapter. Also I've had a problem where my T-LAN interface would go down ever so often. The issue was the connector that converted from the Backplane to RJ45's (E-LAN, T-LAN) and serial output.

no i did not install the filter but do i need it because i have installed another card in the same IPE with out filter and it is working fine.

i am fried that there is a problem in the back panel cables which conected between the cara slot and the RJ21 port.

There is a special cable that must be installed from the backplane of the IPE shelf to the I/O panel on older IPE shelves (replaces the original). I don't remember the number, but if you do not use this cable, the symptoms are EXACTLY as you are describing.

The newer IPE shelves have the cables already, I don't know the part number off hand but the part that connects on the I/O panel is a big gray head..if that helps at all, but that sounds like what your problem is going to be.

i have change the cable from NT8D81BA to NT8D81AA and it is Communicating with the signaling server and the other MC32 card but the problem if I add the channels on the card after to minutes the LED on the card becomes red and the channels will be disabled and I am getting this message from the serial interface with the card (Info VGW offline announce channel 31) .

I have set the old card as leader and it is working fine but the new card if I set as a follower or leader the channels got off and I cannot make call between digital and IP phone registered on the card if the signaling server TLAN goes down.

Any idea where is the problem because I have test the card on CS1000s with another card and it was working fine.

Did you add the VGWs in the PBX? Are you using EM or CLI?

i am using EM i have added the card in th node only Through Element Manager.
