Has anyone seen a MBM type CTCM? I was wondering what it does? I have a number of BCMs that show this type of MBM when i do a inventory print from the maintenance section of UM

Those are the 'older' 4/8 port analog trunk cards. They were called CTM4 and CTM8. They have the RJ-11 jacks on them instead of the amphenol connector that the GATM cards have.

Thx biv434.

But i have another silly question. I have a BCM200 and the 2 MBM have a CTCM installed, yet i can see T316E digital handsets programed on the BCM. How is this possible if all the MBM are occupied and they are analogue trunks?

An 8 port card will show up as two separate 4 port cards in the inventory. You can have 4 analog ports per offset, an 8 port card uses two offsets.

I have 2 CTCM modules on bus 3 and another 2 CTCM modules on bus 4. Bus 3 and 4 have been setup as trunk modules. so they look like CTM4 MBM

Bus 1 and 2 have been setup as station modules but i thought that the MSC unit uses these 2 buses for data resources?
