I recently set up message waiting lamps on several phones for an ICD group mailbox. The mailbox is empty, but the light remains on. I've experienced this with physical extensions before, and *700 takes care of it. However, *700(ICDG ext number)# does not work. I vaguely remember running into this once before and temporarily assigning the ICDG extension number to a physical phone to clear the lamp. However, that does not seem like the proper solution, and anyway is not an option in this situation. Any suggestions?

New info:
I tried assigning the ICD Group extension number to a physical phone to clear the Message Waiting light and was not able to clear it that way either. When I dial *700412 (412 is the ICD Group extension number) as soon as I press the 2, the word "REORDER" pops up on the phone display.

You can't use that for a icd group. If you have a 333 or larger phone you can press button with handset down and press clear on the screen
