Hi Guys,

I'm a collector of phones and PABXs.

Working on an MD110 Consono that is new to the collection.

Have FIOL up and connected.

Would like to know some general commands, hoped someone might have a list.

I've run ALLOP; and appart from no trunks or console it seems pretty happy.

Would like to know the command to find out what sort of console was provisioned and where so I can reconnect one (I have several types here)

Would also like to know what command to find out the software version that the system is running.

Any other assistance would also be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks inslp05.

I appreciate the assistance.

Any way that I can find out what the route options are with susip:rou=x,tru=all; ?

I tried 9, but I notice that when dialing 9 on the phones nothing happens. If you dial 9000 it gives congestion.

But I don't actually know what the operator route is...

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Is there a code that lists things by equipment ? I.e. card location/circuit?

That is all route in your system and then acces code.so you need
print that and put here .

Thanks, InIsp05 - hope this helps - let me know any other commands you would like run.

It says console type 5? any ideas what type of console that is?

YOU have 3 external link with other pstn/ip(h323) network
tl50=DIGITAL TIE LINE, DPNSS
SL60=PRI/qsig/ss7...
TL65=h323 ip trunk
for example access code for route 180 is =20&21&22&23&24&25&3&4&5&62&63&64&65&66&95
if your extenton(cat) permit you can use this external route with this code....
type 5 is opi-II an console with seperate keyboard (see attach,s file)

Thank you InIsp05 - That is great.

I found one of those consoles in the collection, when I plug in (is it single pair digital?) it just makes a clicking sound (at approx. 3 second intervals). It may be DOA. I do have another somewhere in the collection I will dig out tomorrow and see if it works.

I am connecting it to the first circuit on that card (an ELU28) in position 60 of magazine 2 in lim 1.

Thank you again,

Ozphonebloke

This will list the equ position of initialised operator consoles.

You should also check the part number of the console you have as older devices need an ELU5.

Thank you. I will check the part number tomorrow. It does look old (has a BCS150 style handpiece on it!). I have two but the guy who gave me the other one said it was one for an ELU5.

I will probably need to find a newer one somewhere.

I have about 300 MD cards so I would probably have a few ELU5 cards but that would mean adding a card, adding a console etc. still might be a plan B.

Thankyou
Ozphonebloke

This is photos of one of the consoles I have

Inc part numbers,

The two of this type i have are both the same and my guess is they both need ELU5 cards.

I will have to find one that runs on an ELU28.

MD handsets and consoles are so hard to find even though so many are throwj out

HI
this is /1 op console so you most have elu5 for use this one !!! if was 02 work with elu28 and all of them working with 1 pair yes digital.... 2b+d

Thank you
inlsp05 and himdp and for linking me to those threads. I will have to get better at searching.

I will need to find an OPI-II. With any luck I will get another one being decommissioned soon enough.

Hi,
I not 100% sure, but I think this OPI console is a type 5 and should run on an ELU28.
Take a look to the handset.
The old OPI I (on ELU5) had a LEMO handset connector,
the "new" OPI II (on ELU28) had a RJ10 (4Pin) handset connector
best regards,
Norbert

Plastic case and RJ connectors were a cost reduction started with later production of OPI and continued on OPI II.
Quite unpopular with existing customers who liked the original wooden consoles and Lemo connectors and saw the new kit as low quality. (couldn't really argue with that)

Part numbers are the determining factor, DGF 220 10 is OPI II and DGF 220 01 (the part number of this console) is OPI.

Thanks you Himdp and snor

Seems it is the older type.

Let’s hope more of them are decommisioned soon

PS the Lemo connectors are solid. My ASB30 and ASB100 consoles have them

Yes, Lemo connectors were great. I remember when I first saw a wooden OPI. I could not believe it was real wood, I thought formica or plastic to look like wood because of the shiny finish. The icons were a great idea too as no need for different language versions. Ahhh, the good old days[smile]
