Hello!
I have troubles after first steps in MD110-CCM 7 integration. Our MD110 is directly connected to the public network, and to CCM via ISDN-QSIG (TLU-76).

I followed the cisco doc linked here, for BC12 SP5 and CCM 5.0:

We own a BC11 SP9 and CCM 7.1.5, and had very little troubles following the guide. MD110 listed parameters changed very little, and CCM menus are almost the same at that configuration level.

CLIP - Calling Line (Number) Identification Presentation works between MD110 and CCM. I can see the whole CCM user extension id string.

The problem is:
if you open a call from MD110 to public numbers, the receiver can see the complete number (prefix+isdn root number+extension number)
If you open a call from CCM (so via MD110 qsig) to public numbers, the receiver can only see prefix+isdn root number.

Most likely it's a MD110 misconfiguration, so if you think it's better moving to the MD110 subforum feel free to do.

Thank you for any advice.

I would start by debugging the qsig link on the cisco gateway. Run a q931 debug and see if the call is passing the information you ae missing. That will help you see if the issue is on the cisco or Erickson side. We can go grom there.

Thank you whykap. I already traced a call originating in call manager (ext. 7797) to a public number. Tell me if the q931 is still required to solve the problem.

If you have access to SAM software, you can see the calling party is involved in the process:

CALLING PARTY IE:
Type of Number: Unknown
Numbering Plan Identification: ISDN numbering plan
Presentation Indicator: Presentation Allowed
Spare, reserved
Screening Indicator: User provided, verified and passed
Calling Party Number: 7797

is this from the erickson side? I don't know jack about that system or what SAM is.

Paul,

I have done similar setup & it works for me. Pls put in your route parameters between MD & CM.

Also as whykap suggested you need to run q931 debug on the router between MD & CM. this way you will be sure that complete info is arriving from CM to the router. Afterwards your Aastra parameters will be helpful.

Their are caller I'd parameters in CM too. Ensure that those are active but in any case they will be captured in q931 debug.

I am still in the learning phase of CM so will rely on expert advise of other members to guide you on the issue.

Cheers

I'm very sorry for replying so late, but had dozens of critical issues in other areas and no time to check this thread!

Thank you for all precious info.

I runned a q931 debug on the router, which you can add to previous data.
@whycap: SAM is the Ericsson software package
