MD 110 Vs Promina: CAS Extensions

We are trying to establish a connection between MD110 and a digital multiplexer called Promina

TMCP is a digital E1 voice card inside Promina while PVA is an analogue Voice card. DS0 on both card can be programmed for various protocol. It should be noted that Promina uses only A and B bits for signaling.
All cards were programmed to operate in standard configuration as depicted on the above diagram. From ALEX expected off-hook bit by TLU76/3 is 00, however the card seems not to acknowledge this. When call is placed on the programmed line, it rings through but lifting the handset does not stop the ringing with no connection made! A query on the promina port shows that bits A&B are 00 as expected.
Is there something that we are not doing right on the MD110??

I am use CAS-ext. with UMUX-1300(board MEGIF - 2xE1, SUBLA - 12x analog subscribers) and UMUX-1500(LOMIF - 8xE1, SUBCH3 - 30x analog suscribers). I have not any problem.

We have successfully programmed a tie line between two of our PABXs (Both of them MDs) via the promina network. The problem has been when we tried programming CAS extension on TLU 76/3.
see print out below on the programed cas ext 1235. 2888 is a normal EL6 extension used to call 1235. SUSIP and CTDEI were done on both extensions while making a call.

I am use ICAT=0000. Try it.
I think, you must tune the line-signaling (AB-bits) of your Promina's analog card (if possible) to corresponding signalling diagram from ALEX.
I did it in my case.

i have tried ICAT=0000 and 0004. the AB bits of the promina card were tuned to correspond with MD. but still the MD does not acknowledge seizure from the Promina. it it be a hardware problem?

"it it be a hardware problem?" - I don't think so...
In this case, I think, you need to analize the AB-bits in 16TS of E1. Is Promina really send the SEIZURE-signal to MD?
If you have PLEX, you can trace ELP7 (STxxx).
Also you can use any hardware-analyzer of E1 with HI-impedance input.
