MD 110 LOGIN PASSWORD

Hi There....,
I need help to open my MD110 login password, but I forgot my password. The username is MDUSER with authority level 7, I already change the password with the new one but luckily I forgot my password.
Can anybody help me??
Is there any crack to re open it??

I'm sure that someone will chime in on this, but this HAS been explored to death here. Basically what you are asking for is illegal.

I'm sure that your reasons are valid, but if you think about it. What would stop a malicous hacker from then taking the information posted here and hacking another system (or indeed your own one)

You can do one of the followeing things

1> do a search of the archives here for hints
2> contact E/// or D or your supplier who will resolve it for you (at a price)

Yes, There is a way, BTW any other help dont forget tostate which S/W your on !

in case ! it might be even simpler..

when you change your password. the first time you log on it ask's for the password/confirmation.

Its very easy to accidentally change the password so, even if you did the correct command, you may have accidentally changed it again or even back again.

Technically it's not illegal but just supposing I am a phreaker and I find out the modem number for a md110 system.
I post here "I lost my password please help". The friendly people here give me the information I need and I then log on and make changes to that system to allow dial in and back out again. I could be doing this for profit or worse still allowing the bad people to make calls around the world without being traced.

whosrdaddy has explained before "LOADS" of times that it is "illegal" ,

there is a reason why all crack password posts have been removed from this site, ask the admin or moderator for the reason.

Otherwise why does the archive search show up negative...think about it..

again I think its plain stupid to post these types of hacks again it effects the security of peoples systems.

even if you dont post it publicly and simply e-mail it off line, you "cant" know who your sending it to and why they really want it.

I'm sure this user is genuine, but theres also a reason why MD's (and especially bc10 > has different security)

There is a fix, its costs, if you cant remember a password or have not stored it down, I wonder wether you should be let loose with level 7 anyway !

I will not hessitate to report any posts which could cause problems to the MD community at large or is illegal.

once and for all, if you lost your level7 password, CONTACT your local service provider. they should have the knowledge how to deal with this kind of situation. I'll never give this kind of info on a newsgroup like this and similar posts WILL be red flagged...

Well this forum is for solving faults and problems. If you loose your password its your stupidity and we cannot fix that. Always remember that more than 1 person should know the level 7 password. There is another way to solve this password problem without going to a higher level. You had to have a duplicate number of LIM/s. Let say you have trouble in 1 site with 1 LIM system. You need 1 LIM in your lab, same revision. The password in the lab is the one you know. Then unmount the HDU and remount the one from the site. Then LADAI it. This time you are still logged in. IOUAI your MDUSER account and write down what password it is, so there is no hassle and excuses that you forgot it again. Then DUSYI it. Now you have a duplicate backup in your hands and you knwo the password. Bring that backup to the site and reload the site. Easy and simple and its legal.

I dont think everyone is in the position to afford a duplicate system just for password recovery, espically if it is more than one lim and its not always practical to have more than 1 person to know the password. I dont know what countrys you are all in but in the UK, knowledge of how to manipulate systems in this way is completly legal and challenge anyone who thinks otherwise. Damovo and Ericsson have all seen what is on my site (yeah i can trace all the ip addresses that hit my server; and i do!!) and sofar i havent recieved any legal threats.

Well if you only think and think again...that is why they have this password problem because only 1 person who knows it. In 1 company who is maintaining several MD110, security should be in your agenda. Example, senior engineers should know the level 7 password and all technicians should know level 6 password and customer should know level 5 password. The password should be updated 2x a year for more security reason. If someone left the company, password shold be updated.

Its not illegal to publish how to crack password in any forum. But its like honoring someone or the company. Imagine if we will put all SACOSing in this forum it will be chaos and someone out there will try it even they don't know what they are doing and what will happen? more trouble.
