mcse study group - chicago

I am looking at starting a study group in the Chicago area for MCSE. I heard about the idea from another group, but thought i would post here to see if there would be anyone interested. This will be a collaborative effort. I don't have funds or time to spend on an expensive classroom enviroment. Plus, i have started and stopped self-study a number of times. I thought a group effort might be helpful for others. Let me know if you are interested.

Why do you need to specify Chicago?

So long as the time zones work for your free hours, AIM or MSN Messenger means you can discuss stuff on line in front of your PC. Netmeeting means you can voice chat (you don't need a webcam which means voice quality is better cos of bandwidth) and then you can do all sorts of stuff.

Zelandakh, thanks for the info. I'm aware of the online methods and use them quite often for other things. The preference for face-to-face meetings has to do with hands-on group lab sessions since we have some space to do this. However, if anyone might want do online only, i am sure this will work as well. Byteofram, let me know if that would interest you.

The online part is of interest to me. I'm in Phoenix. I'll be attending a community college this fall for MCSE. I am A+ certified. I did that first to be a better networker.

I am located in Elgin (NW burbs) and I would be interested in a study group situation if you are still looking. I have taken a few classes and have my A+, but I find it hard to get myself to study without others around studying the same thing. Let me know the when and where, I'm willing to commute to downtown if necissary.

I would like to joing also..I'm A+ N+ and took the class once but the scchool was not good at all...I also have many study resourses that we can share (not a test king guide)
