Does anyone know if a CTA will work off an extender? Trying to come up with a solution. I don'thave an extender to lab with.

Most of the MCKs can be odified to work on other vendor's equipment. Just go to the MCK site and download the appropriate software for Nortel - remember to download for both ORIGINATING and TERMINATING units.
Load the software, connect them and they should talk to both the switch and the sets just fine.

Thanks Guys.
We were given these as loaners by the sales rep and he said they were previously used on Lucent so we will need to configure them for Nortel.
He sent us an E-6000-SLM08 and the E-6000 RLM08
He also directed us to their "Tech Wizard" at their site.
It has the manuals, etc for Download.
We will probably set this up next week. I will post if it worked or not and what we did if you are interested.

And Salo - Regarding your reply to Marty's question, are you saying to ship it Ethernet via ISP?

which PBX type you need. However 8, 12 ports and
either Nortel, or Lucent, or Toshiba, or whatever,

Just want to mention that contrary to popular belief MCK's Gateway & Extender will not support all devices as if they were hooked up directly to the switch ie.the T7316e or Kim's wont work (the older non-e do).
Has anyone out there tried a door box or DOC?
