I have a MCIS 6.0SW and I am having trouble with the system seeing any lines past CO 34. When I assign the line to my main phone it appears as a button on the phone but yet when I depress it for dialing out it tells me it is not in service. I have enable the module in slot 8 as a trunk module and it sees the Module fine, I have also assign these lines in a pool for outgoing dial as well. I have been working late and am truley lacking the mind strenth to figure it out. Any help would be great, you can email me or call me at 631-478-7637 to discuss.

Thanks in advance

Larry

That is correct, but for what ever reason I am not able to pick those lines up and still receive "not in service" message
Very wierd....

Look under hardware and make sure it is programmed like you want it, then go into Maintenance and make sure that it is enabled.

Well guys, All your advice checks out. I still cannot access lines 61-64. I have checked all hardware and maint. areas of the programming and it all seems to check out. I have assigned these lines as private lines and as public lines to one phone and still can't pick the line on the phone. If I go into button inquiry and depress lines 61-64 it appears on the phone does reflect that it is "not in service"

Just to verify, you do have the trunk port plugged in to the fiber port that is at the top of the fiber expansion card?
Try swapping the card out with one of the cards on your main module and verify that it is not the card causing your problems.

Thanks Jerry, that was actually my next approach. I will keep you all posted.

Ps: I have tried the top for trunks and the bottom of the 6 port fiber card.

Thanks again...

What slot is your expansion card in? I believe that it needs to be in slot 2 unless you have XC then you can use 1 and 2.

Good Luck

Most definetly in slot 2.

as an old cowboy friend of mine used to say.... and this one cracks me up...

"this aint my first Rodeo"

It appears I have a hardware issue with the 6 port fiber card, I am waiting on a replacement currently and will keep you all posted....

first check the things you checked first.. then check it again...
