MCD 3300 CXI 5.0 Transfer question

So I have a phone that forwards to another phone on a no answer. So for testing purpose lets say that Ext. 1000 gets a call from the outside world on a pri. After 4 rings it goes to his secretary on ext 1050... The display says something like The caller ID info of the person calling and from the Ext (1000) but doesn't show the name of the ext it's coming from... just shows 1000. She was wondering if it could show the name. The ext is assigned a name and its in the telephony directory as well.

I know if you call the 1050 from 1000 it shows John Smith calling.....example
Any ideas? or is that how the mitel works?

The design requires that the Number be shown so that automated devices such as Voicemails will see the extension.

I do not think it can be configured to show the name.

How many phones forward to this secretary? Maybe some other method might work better. (Multicall Keys with delay ring for example)

What type of phone?
