We have recently (i.e. last night) moved from Mcafee to Symantec. I uninstalled Mcafee first but when some users log on and Outlook opens they get a message
The add-in "C:\Program Files\Network Associates\Virus Scan\Scanemal dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu. Unable to load "C\Program Files\Network Associates\Viru...." You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file.
Looks as though it's trying to scan using Mcafee which isn't there any more.
We certainly didn't do anything different for these installs originally than any other.
The user clicks on o.k. and outlook works normally.
It would be great if someone could tell me how to get rid of this though !
