Hi,
I've just installed ePO onto a NT4 test server, running all relevant service packs etc. We are using SQL7 on the same server, also with most current service packs. During the installation programme, I followed all prompts, and allowed ePO to uninstall the earlier version of the a/v software it found.
The problem is that I am unable to get the McAfee ePO Service to start, and therefore am unable to login to ePO to set everything up (clients etc).
I've verified that the login account used is a domain admin account, and also a dbo account within SQL. The SQL server is running, and also the ePO database has created itself in SQL upon installation. As far as I can see, all permissions etc are correct and relevant. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and double checked every step of the way.
I am rapidly becoming a candidate for a makeover by L'Oreal in the hair dye dept, as my grey is increasing hourly!
Please help!!
Regards,
Jude
