Mcafee 5100 engine now available

Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded the SuperDat version and installed it on a couple of my test PCs. So far almost every one of them required a reboot to be performed. I hope that is not the case when it is pushed out with ePO!
 
I'm also afraid for the reboot of al my clients when i push the engine update through the organisation. Can you put your experiences with the enrollment of 5100 in this forum.

I've rolled the engine out from my test ePO 3.6 server without the need for reboots. However a manual install of the engine "does" appear to need a reboot.

Either way it requires a reboot. Check the logs on the machines - file is in use and will be replaced after reboot.

I'm willing to bet you have notifications regarding reboots turned off.
