MBG Issues after 3300 Upgrade

We recently upgraded a 3300 to 4.2.
After the upgrade we developed an issue with our MBG (virtual MAS, MBG blade 6.1).
The problem is, the phones get stuck at "upgrading html applications". The phone can still receive calls but the screen never clears.

5330 sets. - non backlit -
What we've also noticed is that the backlit 5330 sets work ok.

Anyone seen this before?
