Mayeb a sily question about viewing mailboxes

Good afternoon ,
Have just upgraded to exchange 2003, on our old system we could see on the server what has been sent that day, week or what ever. Is this possible or do i have to set up a client machine with everyones mail boxes setup ? i cant seem to see any incoming or outgoing from the server itself. We used to have a postmaster folder which held everything , but on the sever you cannot seem to see any details from a mailbox. I may just be having a silly afternoon tho .

Have a play with the Message Tracking Centre which you can find in Exchange System Manager on your Exchange 2003 box. It's listed under "Tools".
