ok, i've got a work task of setting up a vpn between our retail store (with 3 machines that share a single printer and internet access and a wireless router that will allow laptops to come in and do the same things) and our office (with two machines that share internet, and a wireless router that allows laptops to share the internet and printer). while i've never done anything with vpns, i'm not completely ignorant and i'm wondering just how difficult its gonna be to use two linksys rv042 vpn routers to make it so that everything works just as it does now, but with the ability to get to the information on the machines from each location. i mean, am i in over my head? and are there any good sources online or elsewhere on how to do it. i mean, i'm pretty sure its going to be a little more involved than just plugging these things in and clicking my heels three times and all that....
thanks for your patience!

That depends---do you want a remote access vpn to connect from time to time from one office to another, or do you want a site-to-site vpn that is "always on"?

well, i think it'd just need to be open from time to time to update the accounting software. its basically for an inventory control software.
