Hi,

I'm trying to store documents as blobs in an image field on a sybase table and was wondering is there a maximum size that can be stored in one field? I seem to be having problems with documents over 2K in size.

Thanks

I never really heard of a limit for the image type. We are pushing in docs abotu size of 50K - a few hundred K, and dont seem to be having any issues....

The sybase Reference manual states you can store 2^31 - 1 bytes in an image field (of binary data). That's 2,147,483,647 bytes or about 2 gig of space.

That's a whole lotta space.
