Maximum size for measures and levels/columns

Environment: Transformer & Report Studio 8.3

I have been asked to find out the maxiumum size for measure names and column names.

To try to be clear, I mean the length of the measure name (e.g. Sales Qty) not the maximum length of the data it can hold.

Anybody know?

Ian,
Can't help with Report Studio, but Transformer will accept over 256 characters. Displaying such gets to be a challenge (plus Excel exports are limited to 255 characters).
