Hi,

What is the maximum distance in feet between the PBX and the Dterm to operate without problem.I am using regular twisted copper wire.

Roughly 1000 feet but I have seen them run up to 2000 feet. If you want to test, connect up a box or two of 1000 foot cable and see what happens.

Don't forget that if you are trying to go further you can double up the pairs.

Or you can plug in an AC adapter depending on the phone type to also increase the distance.

Funny you asked but Id say about a year ago we had to find out whether to go Digital or VoIP on our NEC 2400IPX. So for the Dterm we got a maximum distance of 6500' but the location was about 3 more thousand feet futher, so VoIP was our only option, in all it works fine at this distance.
