Max rows in a combo box

I currently have 100k + records to which I need to have a find record combo box for, at the moment access limits the number of rows to 65536 , is there a way of increasing the number of rows in a combo box ?

Trust me, you don't want 100k+ records in a combo box. Your searches would be so slow the box would be unusable.
The trick is to only load the box after the user starts typing some letters for the search.
